This album represents a transformative journey in musical innovation, where each arrangement embodies intricacy, challenge, and harmonious melodies. By pushing the boundaries of classical guitar performance, we created compositions that not only captivate audiences but also offer aspiring guitarists new horizons for exploration.
It is noteworthy that much of this creative process unfolded in unconventional settings, such as cafés. Faced with challenges in finding peaceful spaces conducive to work and practice, significant personal sacrifices have been made to ensure the project’s completion. The resulting collection bears testament to his unwavering dedication and passion for music.
FEELINGS OF FANTASIES
Paco’s latest album, “Feelings of Fantasies” released in April 2023, is filled with emotionally wondrous pieces assembled in a romantic journey. The songs take the listener on a pilgrimage through Paco’s inspirations in life, including composers such as Francisco Tárrega, Fernando Sor, and Agustín Barrios Mangoré. In his performances, the listener can feel the very tangible emotions evoked by his playing. Paying tribute to his inspirations, brings out the subtle shades and complex textures of the compositions through focused and sincere performances.

Listening to Paco Hallak play guitar is like listening to his heart sing. Since he was five years old, has been exploring the expressive power of music, mastering flamenco and classical styles, and always staying true to his love of expression and passion for creativity. His recordings are filled with heartfelt notes, and when he performs, one can see his concentrated yearning written across his face.
He has released three albums, Feelings of Fantasies, 25 Melodic and Progressive Studies, Op. 60 by Matteo Carcassi, Nostalgia, experienced stage performer, and collaborated with various artists from many countries. Paco developed his art by taking master classes from world-renowned guitarist Paco Peña, and adopted techniques and styles from Eastern and Western cultures on his travels and tours.
Currently living in Hamburg, Germany, playing guitar concerts and teaches privately and in many schools, working to spread his passion for creativity to the next generation of guitarists and to support his music, make his living from his passion. Paco is an independent artist and hopes to keep mining for new ideas and staying open to life’s wonders, continuing to record albums of cherished compositions, composing his own pieces, touring the world, and playing in orchestras.

An impressive array of compositions that have stood the test of time effortlessly, each track on Paco new album is a subtle whirlwind of artistry and sharp musical elements. In true form, each piece focuses on a different technical or musical element, flitting from slurs, scales, arpeggios, tremolo, tirando and apoyando to musical beats and dynamics, creating a masterclass of musical skill that never fails to impress. Arguably among the most important studies written for guitar, Carcassi’s original études are renowned for their creative and educational underpinnings, and provide a brilliant challenge for any aspiring guitarist.
