ABOUT ME
Paco Hallak is a classical and flamenco guitarist, concert guitarist, composer and guitar teacher based in Saarbrücken, Germany. His musical journey is shaped by a deep curiosity about the expressive possibilities of the guitar and by a lifelong fascination with the way music can move, connect and inspire people.
His connection with music began at an early age. At five years old, Paco received his first musical instrument and was fascinated by the mysterious sounds that could emerge from vibrating strings. What began as a childhood fascination gradually became a lifelong passion for the guitar and for the many musical traditions it can express.
Today, Paco's artistic work brings together classical guitar and flamenco. His repertoire includes works from the classical guitar tradition, Spanish music, flamenco-inspired repertoire, original compositions and personal arrangements. Through his performances, he seeks to bring out the character, emotion and individual voice of each piece rather than simply reproduce the notes on the page.A significant influence on Paco's artistic development has been the renowned flamenco guitarist Paco Peña. Through masterclasses and continued study, Paco deepened his understanding of flamenco and its rich musical tradition. His travels and musical experiences have also exposed him to different cultures, sounds and approaches to the guitar.
As a recording artist, Paco has released several albums featuring classical guitar repertoire, Spanish guitar music, original compositions and arrangements for solo guitar. His recordings are a reflection of the musicians and composers who have inspired him throughout his journey, while also providing space for his own artistic voice.Alongside his work as a performer and recording artist, Paco is passionate about music education. He teaches guitar privately and works with students at different levels, helping them develop solid technique while discovering their own musical expression. His experience working in music therapy has also deepened his understanding of music as a form of communication, connection and personal expression.
Paco is also committed to his work as an independent artist. From performing and recording to creating arrangements and developing new projects, he enjoys being involved in every part of the creative process.For Paco, the guitar is much more than an instrument. It is a way of telling stories, sharing emotions and creating connections between people and cultures. He continues to explore new ideas, record new music, compose and perform, while remaining open to the possibilities that each new musical experience can bring.
His goal is simple: to share music that moves people, inspires curiosity and creates a genuine connection between the performer and the listener.
